Koi Call outs.

Unfortunately Koi sometimes have problems. Ponds with good filtration and good Koi Keeping less than others, however it’s always good to know exactly what is wrong with your Koi.

Throwing different treatments in time and time again is not the correct way to go. There are no ‘safe’ treatments for our Koi, they don’t like them we don’t like putting them in. Sometimes we have no choice so at least make sure it’s the correct treatment going in and not some random magic kill all parasite treatment…there isn’t one!

UKNishikigoi offer a service to visit your pond and give you a bit of peace of mind. We can come to your pond and diagnose 99% of problems there and then, no fuss and no bother. Simple mucus scrapes will be taken then analyzed there and then under our microscope then the correct treatment applied – simple. We carry a full range of treatments so we can kill all parasites there and then.

If there are other problems such as ulcer’s or a bacterial infection we can get to work on fixing those issues too. The best thing to do is don’t panic. There isn’t much out there we cannot put right.

Due to strict quarantine procedures here at UKNishikigoi we do NOT accept any Koi into our premises apart from Koi we are bringing back from Japan. So we cannot do any on site scrapes of Koi due to cross contamination.
